Originally established in 2008 as Katuni Consult Limited (KCL), a Private Limited Company (Ltd) based in Nairobi, Kenya, the firm began as a research-driven consultancy providing expert guidance and facilitation to a broad range of institutions—including UN Women, the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), The World Bank, and Mott MacDonald.
Now operating as KCL Global, registered as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) in the United States, the firm continues to advance the private sector’s role in sustainable development—leveraging inclusive business models, impact investing, and shared value partnerships.
